What's included in the Pallavi Ruby pendant set?

Does this pendant set come with a chain?
No. The Pallavi Ruby set includes the pendant and the matching pair of push-back earrings only — a chain is not included.

Is this real ruby, or real gold?
No. This is imitation jewellery. The stone is a ruby red centre stone, not a precious ruby, and the finish is gold-tone plating over a brass and alloy base — there is no gold content.

Is this Kundan or American Diamond?
Both. The Pallavi pendant set uses Kundan and American Diamond fusion work — American Diamond is cubic zirconia, the standard stone used in Indian imitation jewellery.

Will it tarnish or fade over time?
Gold-tone plating softens gradually with heavy or daily wear — this is normal for imitation jewellery and not a defect. Indian-made imitation jewellery does not come anti-tarnish. With the care routine above, the finish and stonework typically look good for one to two years of regular wear.

Are the earrings push-back or screw-back, and how big are they?
The earrings are push-back with back-clip support, and are approximately the size of a ₹10 coin.

What outfit does a ruby pendant set go with?
Ruby sits best against white, ivory, pastel or plain gold outfits, where the red reads with contrast. For a tonal look, pair it with deep maroon or wine. Because our pieces are gold-tone, it works with gold zari, gold buttis or gold-thread embroidery — not with silver or oxidised-silver jewellery in the same look.

Is this suitable for a wedding, or is it too light?
It is well-suited as a wedding-guest or festive piece. A pendant set is lighter than a choker or full necklace, so it works when the outfit already carries weight — a saree with a heavy border, or a kurti where a full set would be too much. For a bride's own wedding, a full necklace or Hasli set is the better fit.

Can I wear it for Karva Chauth or Diwali?
Yes. Red and gold are traditional and auspicious for Karva Chauth, and ruby Kundan tones catch festive lighting well at Diwali.

How do I clean and store it?
Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after every wear — never soak or rinse. Store it separately in its own pouch or box to avoid scratching, and keep it away from perfume, sweat, water and direct sunlight. Perfume and hairspray go on before the jewellery, never after.

Is Cash on Delivery available on this piece?
Yes, COD is available across India with an additional charge of approximately ₹100 to 150. Because this piece is priced above ₹5,000, COD orders require a 10% advance at the time of confirmation, with the balance collected on delivery.

What if I need to return or exchange it?
Return or exchange requests must be raised within 2 days of delivery, with the product unused, unworn and in its original packaging with all tags intact. Refunds are issued as store credit valid for 6 months. If the piece is defective, damaged or incorrect, we bear the return shipping; for a size or change-of-mind return, return shipping of approximately ₹150 is borne by the customer.
