No. Hema Collections is an imitation jewellery brand. Where a piece is described as diamond, that means American Diamond — AAA-grade cubic zirconia, which is the standard term across Indian imitation jewellery. Gold-toned and silver-toned describe the plating over an alloy and brass base, not the metal itself. We say so plainly rather than leave it to be assumed.

Will it tarnish?
With heavy or repeated wear, the finish will dull — imitation jewellery made in India is not anti-tarnish, and we would rather tell you than promise otherwise. Put it on last and take it off first, keep it away from water, sweat and perfume, wipe it with a soft dry cloth and store it sealed.
